Can I choose what I would like to be videod?

Absolutely. It simply needs to be a 5 to 10 minute everyday interaction between you and your baby when your baby is feeling alert and awake. We will get to know each other first and you are free to choose what you feel most comfortable with. Some people feel a bit self-conscious at first and this is entirely normal. If you want to stop filming at any time, you are free to say, and the filming will stop.

Where does VIG take place and how much does it cost?

Having VIG in your own home is ideal because it is the natural environment for you and your baby. I am happy to travel within the areas of Rutland, Melton Mowbray and Grantham at no extra charge. It is also possible to do VIG online but face to face, or a combination of face to face and online is recommended. You can also choose a different venue for VIG to take place (at your own cost) - as long as it is a quiet and private location so that we can talk together confidentially.

Who sees my videos?

Only you, I and my supervisor will see your videos. The recordings are transferred to safe storage immediately after our sessions. At the end of our VIG sessions the videos are yours to keep and I delete them. I do not make copies. All VIG practitioners must have regular supervision and all the same data protection rules apply with any videos that I share.
